Short version: we are aligned with you. Your school or tutoring practice does well, students do well, everyone wins. If your students drift away, we both lose. That is the contract, even if there is no contract.
PollyStop (the student app) has an optional premium tier that individual students can upgrade to on their own. Extra stories, voice features, longer practice. That is where our money comes from. The dashboard is free because the dashboard is not where we sell.
When one of your students upgrades to premium, you get 25%. Paid quarterly. Real money, accounted for in the dashboard. We are not trying to steal your people — we need them to stay in your class, because that is how this works.
The €100 per month AI tier exists because OpenAI and Claude charge us real money when we generate quizzes or stories or voice. We pass that through. If you want to write your weekly material yourself, you never see a bill. Free is genuinely free.
We never charge you for the dashboard. The €100 monthly tier only kicks in if you want PollyClass to draft your week for you. AI uses real tokens; we don't want to subsidize that — or hide it.
